The Important Function of Auto Radiator

Auto radiators belong to the automotive cooling system. The radiator in the engine water cooling system consists of three parts: the water inlet chamber, the water outlet chamber, the main fin and the radiator core. The auto radiator cools the coolant that has reached a high temperature. When the tubes and fins of the radiator are exposed to the airflow generated by the cooling fan and the airflow generated by the movement of the vehicle, the coolant in the radiator gets cold.


In order to ensure the cooling effect, the automobile cooling system is generally composed of radiator, thermostat, cylinder head water channel, cylinder water channel, water pump, fan and so on. The auto radiator is responsible for the cooling of circulating water. Its water pipes and radiating fins are mostly made of aluminum. The aluminum water pipes are made of flat shape, and the radiating fins are corrugated, focusing on heat dissipation performance. The auto radiator doubles as water storage and heat dissipation. An air vapor valve is arranged on the auto radiator cover, and a common air hole is communicated with the atmosphere. Aluminum auto radiators are also widely used. Each auto radiator is equipped with a set of water inlet and return valves, and the temperature of the engine can be adjusted by adjusting the amount of water. The radiator can adjust the temperature at will according to the needs of the body, so as to achieve the effect of comfort and energy saving.


The auto radiator should have sufficient heat dissipation performance and high service life in a limited space, so the entire radiator assembly must reduce the consumption of raw materials, improve the production process and structure, reduce production costs, and produce the products that are thin-walled, light-weight, and efficient. At the welding part, the method of expanding the welding area should be adopted to reduce the stress. For example, the main piece and the water chamber adopt the narrow groove form of double-sided welding to reduce the wall thickness as much as possible. It is not allowed to increase the assembly strength by increasing the wall thickness.
