FAQ

What is Intercooler
The intercooler is fitted between the turbocharger and engine, and between two turbochargers in twin-turbo systems. Be it an intercooler, the function remains the same: to lower the temperature of the compressed air that is generated by the turbocharger. Intercoolers are also employed in vehicles with superchargers. The intercooler is included in turbocharged vehicles for two reasons: the compressed air carries a lot of heat which can affect the engine parts by causing detonation in the cylinders, thereby lowering boost. The intercooler reduces the temperature of the air and protects the engine components. Secondly, compressed air when cooled becomes denser, which can, in turn, burn more fuel with it. This results in an additional increase in the power output of the engine. This article explains the various symptoms of defective intercoolers.

How to clean the intercooler?
In general cleaning process is divided into three major steps: A. Washing; B. Soap residue removal; C. Drying. You can Google for more information.
Symptoms of a Bad Condenser
Like evaporators, condensers are also susceptible to external blockage, mostly from things like leaves, insects, or even dust. A good cleaning with water, maybe even using soap and a soft- previously mentioned, condensers are also susceptible to severe internal blockage after a compressor failure. Metal particles and other debris from the failing compressor move into the condenser with the refrigerant, and can quickly block the very small passages inside the condenser. In some instances, it may be possible to flush this debris from inside the condenser, but in many cases, the blockage is so severe that the condenser must be replaced.

Also like evaporators, condensers can suffer a seam or weld failure, resulting in leakage. But condensers must contend with something that evaporators don't; because of their "up front" mounting location, condensers can easily suffer physical damage, from debris like small stones and such kicked up off the road, or from front-end collisions.
Tips to Maintain Your Condenser
It is recommended that clean the condenser  every couple of years in order to maintain the efficiency of the air conditioning unit.
The cooling fins on these units that will become clogged with dirt & dust.
Use a good quality cleaning spray to loosen the debris. It will help out to loosen dirt & dust effectively.
Make sure to cover up vent leading down in order to keep grime from seeping inside down.
Tips to Maintain Your Intercooler
Changing the coolant on a regular basis can prevent your radiator from failing prematurely. The changing interval is usually mentioned in the owner's manual.
Cleaning the dust inside the radiator can also prolong its life.
Regularly inspecting the radiator hoses and other parts is also recommended.
